Tariq Riaz Wins Two 2021 JCK Jewelers' Choice Awards for the Al Jahili Ring

We are thrilled to announce that Tariq Riaz's breathtaking Al Jahili Ring has earned two prestigious accolades at 2021 JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards. The ring was selected by JCK Instagram Influencers as the Best Statement Piece, and also secured second place in the Best Statement Piece – over $30,000 category.

Inspired by the iconic Al Jahili Fort in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, the Al Jahili Ring is one of the standout creations from the Riaz UAE 50 Collection, a collection designed to honor the fiftieth anniversary of the United Arab Emirates. The Al Jahili Fort, originally built to safeguard the water supplies of the Al Jahili Oasis, serves as a symbol of strength and resilience, much like the UAE itself.

Tariq Riaz designed the UAE 50 Collection to reflect the nation’s humble beginnings and its journey to prosperity. In his own words, “I wanted to capture the beauty found in some of the foundational elements of Emirati culture. Communities here have thrived in a harsh yet beautiful environment by preserving and protecting the resources necessary for survival. The collection is a tribute to the natural and cultural motifs that define the UAE, reimagined as a celebration of the nation's legacy.”

The Al Jahili Ring, with its intricate craftsmanship and deep symbolism, has resonated with judges and jewelry lovers alike. Tariq shared his excitement for the recognition, stating, “I’m delighted that the judges have appreciated the story and beauty behind this piece.
