American Gem Trade Association award Tariq Riaz Manufacturing Honor in Evening Wear category

The judges singled out two of Tariq’s pieces for his pieces for recognition in the Evening Wear category. The “Circle of Life” earrings received Manufacturing Honors in the Evening Wear Category. The 18K white and yellow gold earrings are double sided, featuring pink sapphires, tsavorite garnets and diamonds. The gems can be rotated to highlight different colorways to fit an occasion or an ensemble.

The “Lotus” ring is an extraordinary feat of engineering: pushing the central 2.37 carat tanzanite switches the surrounding stones between emerald, ruby and blue sapphire. The ring also features the Tariq Riaz AbrazoFit mechanism, ensuring that this monumental ring fits any finger comfortably, all day, without sliding or rotating.

Both pieces are at the heart of the Tariq Riaz 2022 Life Sciences collection, a new range inspired by nature and the joy of color. “it has been a joy to experiment with more color and movement in my works this year, “ says Tariq. “this new collection is a celebration, and I’m delighted to see the judges respond to the gaiety of these pieces as well as the ingenuity that has gone into their engineering.” These pieces and the new 2022 collection will be at the upcoming COUTURE Show in Las Vegas, June 9-12.
